*Iowa Statewide System for Vision Services / Iowa Braille School

Qualifications: M.A. degree in Education and eligible for Iowa Teacher licensure and endorsement in Visual Impairment.  Prefer background in special education and five years consulting experience.  Demonstrated leadership skills.

Duties:   Collaborative itinerant model providing consultative Educational Services and support to TVIs, COMS, local schools and AEAs for birth – age 21 children and youth who are  visually impaired.  School year position with some expectation for summer and weekend special programs. Start date:  August 2010

Salary:   $39,084 - $73,259 based on education and experience.  State car, comprehensive benefits.
