Job Description

The New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired is recruiting an Accessible Materials Specialist.  This individual will translate or transcribe instructional materials into literary or textbook Braille format.  Will be responsible for analyzing instructional material orders to determine the most appropriate alternate format in which to create the materials.  Will be responsible for scanning the hard copies of the materials or downloading them from the appropriate source and binding the final draft of the book.  This is a 12‑month position.
