Job Description

Our client, American Printing House for the Blind (APH), located in Louisville, KY, is the world’s largest nonprofit organization creating educational, workplace and independent living products and services for people who are blind or visually impaired.  They are seeking an inspirational and passionate, highly-mission driven Vice President of Government & Community Affairs.

Reporting to the President, the VP of Government & Community Affairs will serve as a key advisor to the President pertaining to all government activities at APH related to the Act to Promote the Education of the Blind 1879 and the partnership between APH and the U.S. Federal Government and other governmental entities.

While APH is based in Louisville, this role can work remotely with travel to both Louisville and Washington, DC as needs dictate.
